About the Little Rock Rangers

2019 brings the Little Rock Rangers’ fourth season in the National Premier Soccer League. The Rangers compete in the Heartland Conference of the South Region in the NPSL. Home matches are played at historic War Memorial Stadium in the heart of Little Rock and boast one of the highest fan attendances in the NPSL. Many players still compete at the college level, therefore the team is entirely amateur in order to preserve college players’ NCAA eligibility. The conference season is 10 weeks, running from May through July, with friendlies, tournaments, and playoffs extending from April and to August. In 2018, the Rangers were NPSL South Region Finalists after having a 7-3 season and became eligible to compete in the 2019 US Open Cup, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious tournament.

The Little Rock Rangers strive to improve soccer in the greater central Arkansas area by bringing in top quality players and coaches. This group of passionate soccer athletes and staff pay it forward to the Little Rock Rangers Youth Soccer Academy with high level coaching and role model examples of how the sport should be played. For youth looking to gain motor skill to fundamental technical skill to serious competitive development, the Little Rock Rangers Academy has opportunity for youth ages 4 to 16. One of the goals of the club is also to provide local soccer club scholarships to underprivileged but motivated children in the area. This is done through extra revenue from ticket sales and donations.

The Little Rock Rangers Soccer Club is a 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation.
